Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Giveaway [Closed]

Urban Decay Naked 2

Win it! The Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

I’m in the mood for a giveaway! I have my own Naked 2 palette (photos and swatches here) and love it, and wanted to share it with others. The Urban Decay Naked 2 palette has been out around a year, and in that time has built a reputation for being a fabulous collection of neutrals with great quality.

Here are the giveaway details:

  • US residents only (sorry!)
  • It will run from today until September 10, 2012
  • To help discourage people who only go around entering giveaways, the winner will be announced on the blog, Facebook, and Twitter (really hoping it goes to a true blog supporter!). The winner will need to contact me with the email used with Rafflecopter within 72 hours of the announcement or I will need to choose someone else. Make sure you use the same email address as your Rafflecopter entry. It is not public, and this way I can match it to the winner to avoid prize thieves (you suck!).
  • The only mandatory entry is to leave a blog comment telling me me if you prefer people to call before they stop by, and why or why not? You must leave a comment on the blog, and copy and paste it into Rafflecopter so I know it is you.
  • You have the opportunity to get extra entries by following, tweeting, etc. but they are not required.
  • Please read the disclaimer. While I do ship with tracking, I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. (haven’t had that happen yet *knock on wood*)

That’s it! Best of luck to all of you. :)

Gah, I think I accidently wiped out my C&P so I will try to remember what I wrote! For me, it depends on who the person is. If it is a casual friend or acquaintence, I prefer they call. If it is close friends or chosen family, whatever. They dont even have to knock. :D

Pssshhh I know you. It’s all good. :) I am sure I can still verify your entry.

  • Joanna

I do prefer people to call. I do have kids at home as well and would prefer my guest to come a clean house. I also don’t want to be caught off guard, especially when I an having a bad hair day hehe.
Thank you for such a wonderful and generous giveaway. All the best!!

  • Shandi Naugle

I always prefer it if people call before they come over. Sometimes my room is a mess. Even better if they plan it a day or two before hand so that I can really get my place spotless.

  • http://seeshoplove.blogspot.com Danielle Sauers

I definitely prefer for people to call before stopping by. I think it’s a bit rude to drop in on people unannounced, because you never know what they might have going on and I never want to impose.

  • Abbi P.

I love people to drop in but I do appreciate a quick call ahead of time, even if it’s just 10 minutes it gives me time to throw on something nicer, freshen up or pick up a few things if the kitchen has dishes out or something. Either way I’ll take it in stride!!

  • Valerie C.

Absolutely call first! I want to have a clean house and makeup on :)

  • Vicky Hoang

I would like people to call so I can clean up real fast and then I’ll most likely change because I don’t want people to see me in house shorts.

  • Moxie

Great question! Yes, I do prefer that people call first. Like you, I have children and I would run around and do a quick tiding up! LOL!!

  • http://www.oliviafrescura.com Olivia

I def prefer people to call first, normally when I’m at home I’m slumming in my PJ’s with a messy room after the hectic workweek! Thanks for the giveaway!

  • rachel

i prefer a call. i hate it when people just randomly show up.

  • Sabina

I prefer to call, let the people know in advance because they might not be the spontaneous type and have people show up at random. Thanks for having an international giveaway :)

  • Danielle

I REQUIRE a call beforehand. I have odd roommates, so quite a bit of warning is needed first.

  • http://www.sweettartbeauty.com Emerald

I prefer people to call first its just common courtesy

  • http://beautyproductreview.tumblr.com Cristina

  • Melissa Mason

I prefer people calling before they stop by. I don’t live in the best area so I have no clue if it’s a crazy person knocking on my door. Thank you for doing a giveaway! :)

    This looks amazing!

  • http://iwishitwereraining.blogspot.com Kirsten H.

I prefer calling. I prefer to not be surprised!

  • Arra Morta

I prefer to make them call first so that I’m prepared and I can make them snacks but surprize is good too but they must accept if they see me in my most miserable state.lol

  • Marsha

I prefer a call first and I believe it’s because that’s always how my Mom felt. She always wanted everything perfect before company arrived and I feel the same way.

  • Julie B.

I definitely say call first! This annoys friends who like to stop by unexpectedly but I don’t care. I need the house and myself to be presentable.

  • Stefanie Gladden(ann lyfe)

I prefer they call first so I can get out of my pajamas/sweats but I wouldn’t be upset if they just stopped by!

  • hofken

Once I get home from work, I hope no one stops by. On the weekend, we are gone more than we’re home, so not a lot of socializing.

  • http://rockrollglam.com Ivy

People definitely need to call first, it seems like a basic rule of courtesy.

  • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com Catherine

I like this question, I’ve never thought about it really but interesting to read everyone’s responses. I prefer people to call, because sometimes I’m in the middle of something or just not really in the mood for visitors, but when I’m on vacation or it’s the weekend and I don’t have anything in particular going on, I don’t mind people stopping by. Also, it depends a lot on the person, too haha

  • Alyssa F

i would prefer them too call because i do not want to be scrubbin when someone comes over! haha

  • Cristi Martin

My house is always a mess, so I definitely need a call prior to a visit.

  • anita

I prefer a call or text prior so I can clean up (myself and my home) and prepare some food/snacks. how can you not feed guests?

  • http://beautyoutloud.blogspot.com Vickie

I definitely would prefer that I get called before someone stops by. Just to make sure I’m dressed and there isn’t a mess everywhere!

  • Lynn

I prefer calling first. And Especially these days, my friends and myself do not use the doorbell so we call to get in. But I think it’s a bit rude to just show up.

  • M

I like people to call first. I need to mentally prepare for people to be in my space. which really means I run around the house frantically throwing things in the closet. lol

  • Jennifer

A call first would be thoughtful to see if I’m home first. Then it would be good to have time to get something presentable on and the house picked up!

  • http://www.harajukugirlfl.wordpress.com Harajuku Girl FL

People MUST call before they come to my house!!! I have an autistic son and an unplanned visit could be disastrous!!!!!!! Friends and family know the rules! Plus, I must clean too, like everyone else….

  • Kimberly

I definitely appreciate it if people can call before they stop by. 4 kids and lots of pets can make for a busy household. Also, they won’t be bombarded by the dogs. We can put them in their kennels if we know someone is stopping by.

  • Jennifer

I definitely prefer people to call first. I have a tendency to hang out around my house half dressed…hahaha.

  • http://www.fishing4beauty.blogspot.com Kate W.

I prefer people to call first. I just like to be prepared and be a great hostess:)

  • http://endles-s-summer.blogspot.com/ Elena Rudaya

I love it when people call before they visit my home like everyone else – I want to be a good hostess ^_^

  • http://joybringsbeauty.wordpress.com/ Joy D

I prefer if someone calls before they come over. I live with six other people and sometimes it can get hectic and even messy. This way if the person calls I can let them know if it’s a good time to come by.

  • Dee

I prefer people to call before they stop by. I’m usually in my pjs around the house and don’t need anyone seeing me looking like a crazy person. :)

  • meredith

i prefer a call! at least a text heads up

  • Joanna
  • Louis

I prefer to call and be called as well :)

    Thanks for the giveaway :)

  • Christine

Call before – so I can change out of my sweatpants :-p!

  • Alexandria

Call first! I hate it when they don’t tell you and your house is dirty and i would have to put my puppy somewhere otherwise she might bite!

  • http://swatchesandwhatnot.blogspot.com Lisa T

I prefer people to call before so I know when I should stay home. I usually go out at random times when I have nothing to do so if someone doesn’t tell me they’re coming, I’m probably going to be miles away from home when they get there. lol

  • Lisa C

Yes, I prefer people to call before coming over. I get really busy and am not always ready to have company over for one reason or another.

  • http://hardlyahousewifeblog.com Christy Ann

People should definitely call first!! My house is always a mess, and I’m usually not dressed or wearing makeup until much later in the day. I’m a stay-at-home mom with a toddler, so you can not imagine the disaster scene you’d find if you showed up unexpected! Also, if you show up at nap time, I just might rip your head off. :)

  • Denisse H.

Yes I prefer people to call before coming… It would just give me time to pick up the house and get ready if I’m not.
