Spa Ritual Rhythm of Life Nail Polish Review, Swatches, Photos

Rhythm of Life

Yes, that is a teeny weeny bottle. No, it is not full sized. I have so much polish that I decided to purchase minis when I placed my order. The full sized bottles are 0.5 oz. and retail for $10.

Rhythm of Life is a cool toned emerald green. This is actually the perfect shade for doing a manicure based on Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2013. It has a very shimmery finish that borders on metallic. Despite being cool toned I felt it still worked with my warm skin tone.

The formula for this is sheer. I was a bit bummed, because even after 3 coats (which I used in the photos) you can still see the tips of my nails (more so under brighter lights than darker). It did go on nicely and evenly, but the layers didn’t build up opacity the way I had hoped they would. Each layer dried relatively quickly, though certainly not in the realm of what I would categorize as a quick dry polish.

Overall this shade is lovely, but I know I wouldn’t ever purchase it again due to it being a sheer polish.

It IS really pretty Leticia, but I’m right there with ya on sheer polish – skip! I like my formula’s nice and opaque, thankyouverymuch. A shame, as it looks so nice!

I really like how this looks on, and I don’t mind sheer polishes at all, so I think I might get this. Thanks for a really good review :)

I used to be on makeup talk with you as “britscosmetics.” I have seen spa ritual at sephora. I’m not technically the biggest fan of sheer polishes either because it feels like they need more “effort” to apply with coats.

      Hey! :)

I feel the same way. Having to do extra coats means more money in the long run on top of extra time to get the look that you want.
