I forgot when I bought this, but I am so glad I did. Penthouse Sweet is a medium cool toned mauve pink. At least that is how it looks in the tube. When applied it looks more like a cool toned hot pink on me. It’s a really great, really bold shade that will appeal to those who love lips with impact. If you have tan skin, this really looks great against it. Summer’s coming, so I see this one being worn by me a lot.
This shade is part of Wet n Wild’s Fergie line of products. Just as the other lipsticks I am used to from Wet n Wild, this is a very pigmented lipstick. The formula feels creamy (though not slippery), and while over the course of wearing it this didn’t give my lips a boost of moisture it also didn’t leave my lips dry. It did grab the dry patches of my lips a bit, and while not obviously noticeable I would still suggest exfoliating before wearing (but I honestly suggest that before applying any lipstick).
I got hours of wear, though it came off a bit when I ate. So it at least lasts me between meals, which is all I really expect from your average lipstick anyway. I didn’t have any issues with feathering or bleeding, even when worn without a liner. I love this shade, and I love this lipstick. I absolutely would repurchase this when it runs out (assuming Fergie is still associated with Wet n Wild).
Wet n Wild Penthouse Sweet lipstick retails for $2.99 and can be purchased at drugstores nationwide and the Wet n Wild web site.
