MAC Rocker Lipstick – By Request Collection

MAC Rocker is the vampy lip color of the By Request collection. It is a deep red that on me looks like a deep, blood red wine color. I would describe this as warm toned. It is labeled a matte finish, though it does have small glitter particles in it. That is the one iffy thing about this shade that might sway some of you. If you are like me, then you don’t like glitter. However, it is not BAM! in your face glitter. On the lips it doesn’t stand out, and for this non-glitter lover it still gets the OK. I just mention the glitter for those of you who completely ban glitter from your lips.

Like Moxie and Candy Yum Yum, this applies creamy and has a moist yet matte look to it. I really like MAC’s matte formula lipsticks, as they don’t have application issues. They glide on creamy and don’t dry out my lips, which is an issue I run into a lot with drugstore lipsticks. I also didn’t notice this shade grabbing at any dry spots on my lips. Overall I really like this lipstick. Application was great, and it lasted between meals (as with all lipsticks I wear, it did need some slight touching up after eating).
