Archie’s Girls Veronica – Daddy’s Little Girl
When I saw swatches of this online I thought it would be a fuchsia. It’s not. It is a blue based plum with a bit of pink. I am a bit disappointed, because this isn’t an easy shade for me to wear. I will have to be very particular about what type of makeup I wear with this. It isn’t totally unwearable for me so I am keeping it, but it will take some thought. This is not one of those grab and go shades for days when you need to do a quick makeup job (well, maybe you can if you plan your look the previous day).
Daddy’s Little Girl is a satin finish lipstick. It goes on smooth without being too slippery. It has the vanilla scent and taste I love about MAC lipsticks. I didn’t feel this grabbed at any dry patches on my lips the way Betty Bright did, even though they are the same lipstick formula. The packaging is very cute. I hope that MAC puts this kind of effort into future releases. This is really pigmented, though you can sheer it out by dabbing it on a bit and spreading it over the lips with your finger for a more subtle look.
MAC Daddy’s Little Girl retails for $16.50. It is sold out online, so you will need to check your local MAC store or counter for availability.

it looks so different on the tube
I know, same with Ronnie Red. They apply lighter.
yes I agree, I liked the veronica version, I have seen swatches stealer looks so black on the tube but applied on the lips it gets a kind of berry purple/pink shade
It looks nice on you! :)

Thanks :)
It’s much brighter on your lips but it’s such a lovely shade. I doubt I can pull of anything that bright with my olive skin tone. Looks gorgeous on you!
Thank you :)
Such a gorgeous shade! It looks a lot brighter on than I thought it was going to x
