MAC Cream Soda Powder Blush
Now, this is my kind of blush. Warm, peachy, and very natural looking.
MAC Cream Soda is a satin finish blush from the Archie’s Girls collection. It comes from the Betty sub-category, and has Betty printed on the front. The graphic is really cute, and the quality of the printing is well done. You day pay an extra $1 above the regular price for powder blushes, so (in my opinion) it better be well done!
Pigmentation is medium with a bit of sheerness to it. It is not a strongly pigmented blush, but not weak. You can only build it up so much before it doesn’t seem to show up much more, and at that point it still seems a bit sheer. I like that about it, as it gives a very natural flush to my cheeks. Wear time is good, with it lasting until I took my makeup off (I am generally a 6 to sometimes 8 hour makeup wearer).
Overall I like this blush, though I do think the level of pigmentation might mean this wouldn’t show up as well on deeper skin tones. It might be best to test it at the counter if you are concerned it might not show up on you.
MAC Cream Soda blush retails for $22 and can be found at MAC Counters (it is sold out at MAC online), and as of this posting can be purchased online from Nordstrom.
