My lashes are short. Short, short, short. :/ I did have luck with lash growth previously with Rapidlash, but I think the formula changed because it no longer works for me. I am now back to using mascara and false lashes to try and improve my lash situation. When I spotted this mascara in Fred Meyer with its claims to make lashes “separated, intensified, and look shockingly lengthened for an intense make-up result” I decided to buy it. I definitely could use a bit of length.

You know what I really like? How the majority of drugstore brands now package their mascaras so that you can see the bare brush while browsing the store. This one has a rubber bristle brush, and it looked like it would be really good for separating my lashes. I was right, the wand did a great job at separating my lashes for me without me having to do a lot of work to keep my lashes from turning into 4 lash spiky clumps.

As far as length goes? Uh, no. My lashes don’t look shocking extended, or even mildy extended. They just look a bit darker. I got the waterproof formula, and it did live up to its no smudging and no flaking claims. I didn’t have anything close to an intense makeup look, however. If anything I would call this an everyday mascara. I am mildly disappointed with this mascara because it didn’t live up to its claims of length and intensity, but it did give me separated, clump free lashes that didn’t flake or smudge. For those reasons I will use this as my everyday mascara, but I am unfortunately still on the hunt for a dramatic mascara.

L’Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions mascara can be found at drugstores nationwide.

I had just put on foundation and powder, so that is powder on my lashes NOT mites or anything gross. Macro is not my friend. :)

The sun was peeking in out and of the clouds, which is why the lighting is different in this photo versus the before shot.

I like the extra definition, just such a shame it didn’t give you the length you were after :(

My lashes are quite curly, so they’re fairly noticeable, but I always wish for longer lashes too Leticia! I’m sorry to hear (and see) that this mascara didn’t work out, I’d love to hear about a really fab mascara that works miracles! :)

That’s a real shame :( I struggle to find mascaras that work for me too. There really isn’t much of a difference in those pictures though,
