One Kiwi a Day …
I was kind of hoping this smelled fruity like some of the other items in the collection, but no. Regular old nail polish smell.
One Kiwi a Day is as you would expect, a fruity green color. It is part of the limited edition Fruity collection. It has a green jelly cream base with gold micro shimmer, and mixed throughout are teal colored dot glitter. The formula has a nice consistency, being not too thin or too thick (though it does lean a bit thin). I was able to add my layers without any gooping or running.
This is sheer, so you will still see nail tips after 3 coats. I did 5 for my swatches to get full opacity. Because of the gold micro shimmer, I feel that the overall tone of the base color becomes more yellowy the more layers you add. Nothing bad, just something to note. Each layer dried in an average amount of time. The back of the bottle claims it is a long lasting formula, but I have not tested that as I like to change colors frequently. However, in the few days I have been wearing it I have not had chipping issues.
One Kiwi a Day retails for around $1.99 (price can vary be area and store) , and can be found wherever Essence is sold (I bought mine at Fred Meyer).
