Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder
I had heard about this powder for quite awhile before finally trying it. I don’t know why I hadn’t. Most likley distracted by new, shiny things. Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder has been around for a long time. Your grandmother has likely worn it. Which brings me to my only complaint about this powder. The smell. It has a powdery fragrance that is reminiscent of grandmothers. Other than that this powder really impressed me.
The container for this is plastic, and inside is a sifter. On top of the sifter is a giant puff applicator, which I never use. I am not a fan of puffs, as I don’t find them to be hygenic. I have had this for a couple of months, and forgot to get a picture of the puff before I tossed it (sorry! bad blogger!). It is almost as big as the jar, and is white and fluffy.
The powder itself really does seem airspun. It is really lightweight and super finely milled. The first time I used it I was shocked that such a silky, luxurious feeling powder was so inexpensive from the drugstore (I paid $6.99 for it). When I apply it to set my foundation my skin has a soft, natural finish to it. It doesn’t look heavy or cakey. I am in love with the finish it gives. I wouldn’t say it does much for oil control, but it doesn’t claim to. At least it doesn’t make me oilier. I bought the translucent, but there is also a version with extra coverage.
Overall I really love this powder and will be repurchasing it when I am done.
Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder can be found at just about every drugstore there is.
